Paperlessngx on DSS220+. Install with Docker Manager ? reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- abiabi2884 · 2023-11-06 13:20 Hey, i wanted to finally setup paperlessngx. I downloaded paperlessngx with the Docker Manager App in the webpanel. If I push "ausführen" (execute) the package opens a windows for the installation but tbh i dont know what I need to choose for correct installation. I searched a lot but I dont find a tutorial or manual for the installation through Docker Manager. All tutorials are with SSH/commandpromt. I am to afraid using it and maybe somebody has a tutorial for me. Thanks in advance! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- No_Entertainer_5054 · 2023-11-06 14:11 Have you tried the steps outlined in this blog ? https://mariushosting.com/synology-install-paperless-ngx-with-office- files-support/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- atika · 2023-11-06 16:12 Please don't. Unless you want your setup to break in the future unexpectedly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kru89 · 2023-11-06 16:53 Can you please elaborate what’s wrong in the setup? I am using that guide and would like to protect my docs ---------------------------------------------------------------------- atika · 2023-11-06 16:55 https://www.reddit.com/r/synology/s/ERvLm5DyEf See the thread under that comment. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- No_Entertainer_5054 · 2023-11-06 17:29 FWIW, the risk of incompatible packages is equally applicable to any docker image, not just paperless-ngx alone. I haven't ---------------------------------------------------------------------- abiabi2884 · 2023-11-06 19:48 He is working with Portainer in the first step. There is the first problem. I just want to use Apps which are native compatible and dont want a lot scripting. I am a noob and i forget what i did immediately. Just need a install manual for idiots with Docker Manager. Maybe I should ask somebody on fiverr. But thanks.
