DweebUI v0.03 - A simple Docker web interface reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lllllllillllllillll 路 2023-11-05 19:12 DweebUI is a simple Docker web interface created with javascript and node.js. https://github.com/lllllllillllllillll/DweebUI. I posted some screenshots a few weeks ago, but never created a new post after sharing the code. **This is a personal project and a lot of the features are half-baked** Features: * Server and container stats on a single page * Control containers from dashboard (Play, Pause, Stop, Restart) * Support for multiple users built-in * Caddy Proxy Manager [If anyone is able to help me create a working docker image, I'd greatly appreciate it. I've been struggling with it for a few days now.] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- reddittookmyuser 路 2023-11-05 20:08 lllllllillllllillll ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Digital_Voodoo 路 2023-11-05 20:19 Dope! 馃憣馃徎 Will be installing as soon as an image is ready (unfortunately I'm not knowledgeable yet as to how to create it) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- alekslyse 路 2023-11-05 20:59 Nice. I would hope you could implement traefik too and native compose support ---------------------------------------------------------------------- superglue_chute115 路 2023-11-05 21:57 So is this supposed to be a sort of alternative to CasaOS? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lllllllillllllillll 路 2023-11-05 22:08 It's not much of an alternative to anything at the moment, just a personal project I decided to share. The most complete feature is the dashboard, which displays server stats, container stats, and container controls. When I started this I couldn't find anything that had the look and features I wanted, and I wanted to be able to customize certain things and add my own scripts and app templates. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lllllllillllllillll 路 2023-11-05 22:15 Compose support will definitely be added soon*. It's basically built in right now but not available in the web interface. At the moment the apps are installed by creating a compose file out of the Portainer template file Templates.json. Traefik support was partially built into the template through labels, but I think I removed most of them. I'll be adding the traefik labels back in the future and plan on adding a feature that will allow you to add certain labels to each template. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lllllllillllllillll 路 2023-11-06 02:28 If you want to try out a half broken image, download the files from the dev branch and run "docker compose up --build" in /DweebUI-dev/ after extracting the files. First test build is "working" on Windows 11 for me. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy 路 2023-11-06 03:31 If im bored enough tomorrow i will take a stab at a Docker image for this. Seems very basic, just a NodeJS 20 install, right? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- amcco1 路 2023-11-06 03:31 Seems like a less fleshed out version of Portainer. Looks cool tho, keep going! Definitely would be interested in trying it when it has a stable docker image . ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lllllllillllllillll 路 2023-11-06 03:55 Yep. Partially working Docker build in the dev branch includes dockerfile and compose.yaml. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- zn448sk39 路 2023-11-06 16:28 Can I look at logs in it?
