Help with Headscale/Tailscale reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Noose00 · 2023-11-05 18:06 I've successfully self hosted headscale on my vps and added multiple tailscale clients to it. Following this architecture I have been struggling to make the following work. I've been trying to configure Headscale with magic dns and setting A records to each tailscale client, and routing through a reverse proxy to access upstream services and metrics (like crowdsec, etc...), but to no avail. And not only that I have yet out figure out how to even make services in my dashboard stack (prometheus & kuma) able to even access the vps tailscale client (all of them are docker containers) to be able to curl or ping other tailscale clients networks Can anyone help guide me and if possible to redesign this to make it work? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Noose00 · 2023-11-05 18:10 For example I would like to have kuma be able ping and prometheus retrieve metrics from service.server.domain.tld ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Zeal514 · 2023-11-05 20:24 It should. This should all act as if it's on a single network.
