Pi5 vs Pi4B reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- r4nchy · 2023-11-05 03:57 I have a Pi 4B **8GB** ram version and a Pi5 **4GB** is on the way. I am just curious as to which board will be better to selfhost services ranging from nextcloud, jellyfin to sonarr, radarr etc. as the RAM configuration is different on the boards that I have. I will be using it to stream content on other devices. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BinaryPatrickDev · 2023-11-05 04:08 I don’t think any of those apps are particularly ram intensive so probably either. Pi5 has better IOPS performance and the pi4 supports a wider variety of video decoders. Why not use both? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kmisterk · 2023-11-06 18:38 ## Post Removed Hey, r4nchy! Thanks for your submission on selfhosted.
