Self hosted chatwoot site has been marked as deceptive by Google reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- rosyravens · 2023-11-03 14:57 My selfhosted chatwoot site (live agent Helpdesk software) has been marked as deceptive by Google. I filled out a form on https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_error/ to report this as an error. I was about to link my production site to my self hosted chatwoot instance but now I am worried that this could happen again. Anyone else encountered this problem? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mega_corvega · 2023-11-03 15:47 You’ll need an ssl cert for the site. Are you hosting this locally or over the internet? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- rosyravens · 2023-11-03 16:00 Already have an ssl cert, hosting it publicly on Hetzner ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mega_corvega · 2023-11-03 16:05 How is the cert generated? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- grenskul · 2023-11-03 18:15 This happens often enough for self hosted stuff. As long as you filled out the form and it got taken off of the list you're fine. Not much else you can do anyway. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Cultural_Cricket_190 · 2023-11-03 20:35 Once I used cloudflare as a DNS / redirect to point to my self-hosted applications and self hosted server I stopped getting those Google warnings as the SSL certs where generated by cloudflare or if I already had a cert then it was confirmed by cloudflare. All of the Google warnings disappeared everything still goes through SSL works great for me took me a while to figure out how to get cloudflare to work though as that is a new to me ---------------------------------------------------------------------- SavageTheUnicorn · 2023-11-04 14:30 This JUST happened with my *Arr suite. No ssl certs though, it was never an issue before yesterday or the day before.
