Recognize objects on photos reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- esvaf · 2023-11-03 09:50 Hi there! I am searching for a self hosted solution to recognise objects in photos. I have an incoming flow of jpeg images from a surveillance camera. They are made by motion trigger in camera, but about 70% of them are rubbish because they are triggered by movement of tree branches or grass. I need a solution to filter this flow and use in the next step (send to the telegram channel) only pictures that contain people or cars. Please, tell me if you know any suitable solutions! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- j0hnp0s · 2023-11-03 10:27 I think tensorflow can do that ---------------------------------------------------------------------- fospermet · 2023-11-03 10:33 [Codeproject AI server](https://www.codeproject.com/Articles/5322557/CodeProject-AI- Server-AI-the-easy-way) sounds suitable for your use case. It provides an API for object recognition with various backends (different models, CUDA, Coral acceleration, etc), supports multiple platforms and very easy to deploy. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- esvaf · 2023-11-03 11:40 Thank you! Looking like good framework, i will search any suitable solutions based on it ---------------------------------------------------------------------- esvaf · 2023-11-03 12:03 Looks interesting, i will try, thanks! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- it-65 · 2023-11-03 19:56 Tensorflow has pre-trained neural network models, you can look here https://tfhub.dev/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- johnerp · 2023-11-04 10:07 https://www.reddit.com/r/selfhosted/s/SRur0zBQqO ---------------------------------------------------------------------- esvaf · 2023-11-04 10:37 I tried it, it gives simpe API access with good result, thank you!
