Good luck 🤞🏻 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- IrishMLK · 2023-11-02 21:33 Be careful with the UPS as unknown batteries can be dangerous. The tower servers could be good, just be prepared to see extra power usage. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Pi_ofthe_Beholder · 2023-11-02 21:40 And what if you host that software on your own? That would be… go on… ---------------------------------------------------------------------- TwoDogDad · 2023-11-02 21:44 10-4. I’ve replaced them before. Hopefully the UPS units are still good. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- TwoDogDad · 2023-11-02 21:45 I’m in construction so this is part of demo. Hopefully they’re still there when I go down to walk the site. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- NotablyNotABot · 2023-11-02 22:01 The flat box against the wall in pic 3&4 is an Avaya IP Office. Small business phone system. Considering it isn’t on the network, it doesn’t have SIP Trunk or IP Endpoint or Power User licenses so it’s not worth much. Avaya makes you buy all new licenses to upgrade to R11 so it’s not worth buying a used one that’s not on R11. Can sell the PSU, the cards from the front separately and net ~$150. DM me if you do end up getting it and I can give you a contact who might buy the parts to resell. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- servergeek82 · 2023-11-02 22:15 My HP proliant G8 server which is a ... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- morbidpete84 · 2023-11-02 23:19 A fellow man of culture I see (haven’t delt with IPO in a while fortunately 😂, had to for a bit until the hosted platform I was hired to build out was done) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- FizzyWater9 · 2023-11-02 23:40 Which is "selfhosted" on.... I had one in a similar model as those in the bottom of the rack give up the magic smoke after less than 3 years and I had replaced it myself. Smell is terrible, but if you are not home, they can literally meltdown and catch fire. A quick search found the link below of another redditor who had a similar experience. https://www.reddit.com/r/homelab/s/sliK95hnSv
