[DEV] Symfonium: Music player & cast, the self hosted music player reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 07:49 I never officially introduced Symfonium here and if this breaks the rules please remove the post. So with version 6.0.0 just released Symfonium is now feature complete, to fully embrace most self hosted music scenario as it was planned to be. Took me some more time than planned :) So Symfonium is an advanced Android music player (Paid app with free trial) that support most self hosted music solutions to fully enjoy your music anywhere and allows aggregation of multiple servers. It currently support: \- The local storage of the phone (SDCard,...) \- Emby \- Jellyfin \- Subsonic \- OpenSubsonic (A long term effort that I started to improve Subsonic clients and servers [https://github.com/opensubsonic/open-subsonic- api](https://github.com/opensubsonic/open-subsonic-api). Already quite a few new features for some servers) \- Kodi \- Plex \- Samba (SMB v2/v3) \- WebDAV It's an offline first solution with tons of features, like AutoEQ support, smart filters, personal mixes, transcoding, replaygain, ... But I don't want to make this post a long list of features, just wanted more people to be aware of this relatively new music player dedicated to self hosting. And if there's other well established music self hosting solution with a proper API do not hesitate to ask for support so I can look into it. Website: [https://symfonium.app/](https://symfonium.app/) PlayStore: [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.symfonik .music.player](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.symfo nik.music.player) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -SHINSTER007 · 2023-11-02 08:05 I love Symfonium and Yatse! Any chance you make Symfonium available for Android TV? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 08:09 The Compose library for Android TV are very alpha for now and some stuff would be hard to be done there, but one day I'll probably try yes. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BobcatGreat6395 · 2023-11-02 08:10 As a big fan of the app, I would recommend everyone to give it a try! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -SHINSTER007 · 2023-11-02 08:13 thank you for the consideration; Android TV's are the center of a lot people's entertainment system so being able to connect to Navidrome from there would be awesome ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 08:17 I use the cast function for my shield, work well. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -SHINSTER007 · 2023-11-02 08:19 works great for me, but a lot of people have iphones ): ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CWagner · 2023-11-02 08:21 Love it, amazing app that’s very well designed (not just good-looking, which it also is). I use it to play from Jellyfin, and kinda-offline (via the convenient cache function) to save data ;) I recently started having an issue when switching between 2 BT outputs, having to force-close it, do you want bug reports in your forum, or elsewhere? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jimmycoconut88 · 2023-11-02 08:26 I bought the app this year to use it with my navidrome instance, gotta say I love the design and functionality. Thanks a lot for your work. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 08:33 Yes proper bug report with logs on the forum, but the app have nothing really related to BT, was you phone updated to Android 14? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 08:38 Then I need to make Symfonium for iPhones :p ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CWagner · 2023-11-02 08:51 Nope, no Android update, just started happening, I think between Friday and Monday at some point. Will post :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Madiator2011 · 2023-11-02 09:00 Sadly im iOS user :/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ExcessiveEscargot · 2023-11-02 09:06 Well there's your problem! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Digital_Voodoo · 2023-11-02 09:07 Yatse + Symfonium user since inception, overall greats apps 👌 A dev question: writing to ID3 tags from a player like Symfonium was not possible, on the forum (or in another sub) you explained that it was a Subsonic limitation. Can we hope that Opensubsonic addresses this? Or will tags remain read-only? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CGA1 · 2023-11-02 09:12 Symfonium is one of the very few apps I have bought during my 10 plus years as an Android user. It's an absolute gem that really ticks all the boxes. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 09:13 There's currently no plans in OpenSubsonic for that. And in all cases no plans for Symfonium as it would be a mess with all the different providers. There's tons of way more powerful solutions for tag editing than anything I could offer on a small phone screen. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Best-Expert · 2023-11-02 09:23 This is one of my favorite music app. I wish it had a custom lock screen like musicolet though. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 09:26 No idea what you mean but feature requests are just 1 click away ;) https://support.symfonium.app/c/feature-requests/8 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- luxlucius · 2023-11-02 09:28 I'm streaming from Plex, but I'm not finding the option to add star rating to the songs. I can see the already set rating from the details menu, but I cannot find the option in the app to add rating. Anything I'm missing here ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 09:31 On any song the 3 dots menu have a change user rating entry. In the now playing view you need to enable the show rating bar option in settings / now playing. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Icannotfindnow · 2023-11-02 09:34 Any chance of getting this on F-Droid? I currently use subtracks for my Navidrome instance but would love to try this out. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- JohnBeePowel · 2023-11-02 09:36 Love your app. I was testing free apps but then I trialed yours and it's just the best. I had Navidrome for music and Jellyfin for.miviez but your app works great either so I stick with Jellyfin (which lets me play music on my Android tv thanks to the Jellyfin app). Great work, worth every penny. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 09:38 No, it's a closed source app. And even then it uses closed source Google libraries that are incompatible with F-Droid. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 09:38 You can cast to Android TV this works nicely enough for me for now. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Best-Expert · 2023-11-02 09:40 This is my favorite music app next to musicolet. I can vouch for this. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 0d_billie · 2023-11-02 09:58 I have been a happy user for 6 months or so. This is one very polished app, well done! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- loginhd · 2023-11-02 10:03 Waiting for an iOS release :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- poulpoche · 2023-11-02 11:15 Since recently, I mostly used [Gelli](https://github.com/dkanada/gelli) to play my jellyfin music library and was very happy with it, then I discovered Symfonium and bought it because of the Android Auto compatibility, + I like the "random" list which allow me to rediscover old stuff I have forgot. My only complain is, I would have liked that once paid, the app could be shared in the Play Store family library. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Deathbot64 · 2023-11-02 11:22 How does this compare to Plexamp? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 11:23 We are many dev asking Google to support that for InApp purchases but they do not seem to care at all :( ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 11:25 Only you can tell, personally I hate PlexAmp ui and navigation. And offline first approach in Symfonium is 100 times better. With that said, all the sonic stuff is not yet accessible in Symfonium. But there's a long free trial to decide for yourself. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BobcatGreat6395 · 2023-11-02 11:36 You can check out substreamer but honestly I find symfonium far better both UI wise but functionality wise as well. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- One-Main5244 · 2023-11-02 12:32 To bad am an IOS user, looks neat. Plans to support spotify? I'd love an app where I can use my own music files and spotify together. I know spotify supports local music but it is clunky and most of the time screws up somehow. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 12:38 No plans for Spotify this is the opposite of Self Hosting :p And not really compatible with the offline first approach the app use. But I know one user have built a server that expose Spotify as Subsonic server to achieve this. Maybe you can convince him to make his project public :) https://support.symfonium.app/t/sync-terminates-early/2572 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- AngelGrade · 2023-11-02 12:39 Why doesn't this exist for iOS? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 12:46 Because Compose and KMP were very very very far from ready when I stared this project. Since then it have matured and I will look into this in the future if I can make Symfonium a little more known to finance the investment necessary. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Photex · 2023-11-02 13:03 been using this with Plex and Plexamp on the desktop, it works pretty great as i'm slowly trying to remove myself from the Spotify eco- system. Also it has great Android Auto support which is essential these days. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- excetto · 2023-11-02 14:05 Used since last year Never looked back 👌 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- one-man-circlejerk · 2023-11-02 14:42 Do you need a Plex pass to play music using it as a provider? Getting "error playing media, ensure that your phone supports it" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MOONGOONER · 2023-11-02 14:51 Installed it this morning, impressed so far. Love the approach of having everything in one app. I was impressed that it pulled my internet radio stations from my airsonic account. Any plans to add podcast support? That's the main thing that keeps me coming back to janky ol' dSub. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 15:21 It's more or less on the todo but not high priority. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 15:21 No you don't please provide logs. https://support.symfonium.app/t/wiki-how-to-gather-logs-and-open-an- issue/18 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- forkbomb9 · 2023-11-02 15:22 Tried it and fell in love. Is there any alternative way to buy it for us microG users? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 15:26 Yes there's a solution based on Play Donation on a Ko-Fi page and infinite trials. Necessary until Google is forced by law to allow us to sell outside of Play Store. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- xxlibertyordeathxx · 2023-11-02 15:52 Symfonium is literally the only app I've ever bought on android ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Install_GNU_LINUX · 2023-11-02 16:06 need symfonium for ios too 😭😭😭 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- rex_divakar · 2023-11-02 16:22 Please make an ios app ---------------------------------------------------------------------- AaBJxjxO · 2023-11-02 16:37 Same ---------------------------------------------------------------------- spiral6 · 2023-11-02 16:58 I bought your app too. This is quite limiting. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kvpop · 2023-11-02 18:16 True, but there really is no better option/app on iOS sadly ---------------------------------------------------------------------- tonyedwardspz · 2023-11-02 18:17 Such a great app. If you're hosting a collection of music on a platform this works with, I highly recommend purchasing it. Really nice and smooth interface, plus the app supports an offline first media consumption pattern flawlessly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 18:25 Sure there are some subsonic ones no? And Plex still have the nice sonic stuff too bad they have such powerful things and not the basic ones :( ---------------------------------------------------------------------- AngelGrade · 2023-11-02 18:26 Well, I hope you're encouraged. There are users on the other side who would like to see your work. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 18:31 Yes I know but the necessary time and hardware investment is hard to fund via the Android apps :p ---------------------------------------------------------------------- matejdro · 2023-11-02 18:36 Is there a music backend that supports: 1. Full folder structure preservation 2. Transcoding / conversion when downloading 3. preservation of Replay Gain data when transcoding I have a growing collection of music, mostly stored in flac files, nicely organized in folders that I want to sync to my phone. Up until now, I was just syncing my music folder directly, but music being in flac is starting to take up sizeable amount of phone's storage. Ideally, I would keep flac on the server, but would convert it on the fly when syncing to the phone to a more compact format. I was looking at Subsonic servers, but most of them are either old and do not play well with Symfoniom (Airsonic) or do not support folders (most of the others) while WebDav/Samba does not support format conversion. How well do Emby/Jellyfin/Plex fare in that department? * ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 18:53 Emby / Jellyfin kinda works yes. Currently with OpenSubsonic I'd recommend LMS [https://github.com/epoupon/lms](https://github.com/epoupon/lms) I don't know how the file API work on it as I don't use that, but the dev is reactive. On the other Symfonium have a transcoding engine so I can easily add transcoding to offline cache from WebDAV/SMB it would use a ton of battery on the phone but would work. Open a feature request [https://support.symfonium.app/c/feature- requests/8](https://support.symfonium.app/c/feature-requests/8) for that if that would work for you. BTW Airsonic is no more maintained but with with the Compatibility option, it's just wayyy slower to sync. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- matejdro · 2023-11-02 18:57 Looking at the LMS demo page, there is no folder structure in sight :| I guess I will look at Jellyfin next. It sounds a big heavyweight for my needs though (it is general media server, but I only need music). Regarding transcoding on the phone, it can be deferred to when the device is charging (if user forces sync during the day, files can be copied as is and then transcoded overnight when phone is charging). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- kriswithakthatplays · 2023-11-02 19:01 I absolutely LOVE Feishin, even if the authentication scheme seems a bit strange. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 19:03 Not sure deferred transcoding would be something I'd do, it would take a ton of space for the initial copy that most would not have and would use the storage a lot for no real benefits. Anyway you can open the feature request and I'll see what is possible. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Zezark · 2023-11-02 19:12 How does this app stack up against poweramp? I just cannot switch it out as its features are so vast and extensive. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 19:22 Well PowerAmp does not have Plex,Emby,Subsonic,Kodi,WebDAV or SMB support as a first very big difference ;) For the local player part, it's a complete different UI paradigm that is 100% configurable and have quite a few features not present like smart filters or cast to UPnP/DLNA, .... So TL;DR; Symfonium features are more vast and extensive by a large margin. Do those features fit your needs that's another story and you can easily try. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- vikrant82 · 2023-11-02 20:19 Gonic.. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Zestyclose_Car1088 · 2023-11-02 20:24 Would love a free version of this, does it exist? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Kaleodis · 2023-11-02 20:56 Maybe then just have a separate paid version as well instead of in- app? I mean it's not a steep price, and if my partner wants Symfonium as well, i'll happily pay \~5€ again. It'd just be easier i guess? Anyway, awesome app! I wish there'd be a version for desktops as well (maybe your next project? ;-) ) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Kaleodis · 2023-11-02 21:05 I really love the app, haven't really found anything as good. I'd really love a desktop version of Symfonium for desktop/(win10 (and maybe others, if you're willing). Easiest 5€ i spent in the play store. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- regueifa_ · 2023-11-02 21:10 I check [https://github.com/CappielloAntonio/tempo](https://github.com /CappielloAntonio/tempo) and Symfonium at the same time, just now. I think Tempo need more time and contributions but I didn't' need more, for now. I ---------------------------------------------------------------------- onekorama · 2023-11-02 21:18 Good job man, I paid a year ago and it worth the money. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 21:25 This is no more 2018 :) It's mostly against the new Play Storey rules and divide ratings and installs making ranking even harder than it is now. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Salopridraptor · 2023-11-02 21:26 Using it daily with navidrome, best combo ever! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- PopeMeeseeks · 2023-11-02 21:27 Yes. Huge fan here. It just works. I love almost everything. Would be better if albums where defined by folder and if it recognized navidrome. Right now it sees it as a jellyfin server if I am not mistaken. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 21:28 Symfonium works on the Google Android subsystem. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- dweymouth · 2023-11-02 21:28 Tolriq is an indie dev and makes a living off of app sales. It's not a side project. I love FOSS as much as anyone but devs do have a right to charge a license fee for their software if they choose. (And maybe if more users of FOSS would donate to their favorite software, an open-source pay-as-you-want model would be more viable for devs like Tolriq ;) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Digital_Voodoo · 2023-11-02 21:31 > There's tons of way more powerful solutions for tag editing than anything I could offer on a small phone screen Music players like PlayerPro and GoneMad do this very well, unfortunately they're local only. But I get your point. Thanks for clarifying. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 21:32 Navidrome is fully supported and seen as Subsonic since it's it's API. For the albums by folder I get the server data so need to be addressed server side. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Kaleodis · 2023-11-02 21:50 Ah okay, thanks for the insight! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Kaleodis · 2023-11-02 21:51 Care to elaborate? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-02 22:01 There's different ways but see for example https://www.androidauthority.com/how-to-install-google-play-store-on- windows-11-3049609/ You can now run Android apps on Windows. (There's a way to do that on Windows 10 too. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Kaleodis · 2023-11-02 22:43 Dude you are a damn legend. Works almost perfectly with WSA for Windows 10 (didn't want to install win11 just for this...)! Small problem: The (in-app) volume controls don't work with WSA. It always resets back to full volume when i change it. For now I have to set it with the windows volume controls (for the whole wsa it seems). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- arcoast · 2023-11-02 23:45 Best Android music app by far. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- one-man-circlejerk · 2023-11-02 23:46 Problem solved! I did some troubleshooting of my own and discovered Plex itself was also refusing to play music through the web interface. Turns out somehow the path for Plex's music library had become set to a subfolder that only contained a single artist. I changed it back to the root Music folder, rescanned files, and it's all working now. So it was a Plex problem, not a Symfonium one :) Looks like a great app, appreciate your community engagement too, just purchased the full version. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- dweymouth · 2023-11-02 23:47 If your backend is a Subsonic-compatible server you could check out Supersonic :) It's not quite as feature-rich as Symfonium but is designed for the desktop and has some advanced features like a built- in equalizer. (A bit of self-promotion since I'm the dev - and always looking for volunteers to help out as well!) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- dweymouth · 2023-11-02 23:50 Yep, Gonic supports all of the above but you do need to pair it with a client, either self-hosting a web client like Airsonic-Refix or using a desktop client like Supersonic. Though Supersonic does not have a folder browsing mode at the moment. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- dweymouth · 2023-11-02 23:51 There is nothing as advanced on iOS for Subsonic as Symfonium :) Play:sub is probably the best but from what I hear Symfonium is way better. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- dweymouth · 2023-11-03 00:04 As the other replier mentioned, Gonic is what you want if you need folder structure and just music. Super lightweight too. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MTEX87 · 2023-11-03 00:19 Finally a working player for jellyfin with a nice ui, lots of features and backup and restore function. I tried finamp, it worked but UI is not smooth, rework is nowhere to be seen. Fintunes looks good, but lacks with features. I will give this a try, 14 days trial is fair enough and the price is small. First impression is awesome 😊 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- zfa · 2023-11-03 00:52 Been toying with getting a Wiim Pro Plus - anyone know how this works with it? Guess you could cast but is it bit perfect? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CrispyBegs · 2023-11-03 00:57 i bought this app ages ago, it's really good. happy to pay for nice work like this. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- curtissh7kp · 2023-11-03 02:32 Love the app! So smooth and user-friendly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Kaleodis · 2023-11-03 03:19 I actually tried out Supersonic already - but didn't like it quite as much. I actually liked Feishin a bit more - and now that Symfonium runs on win10... well... And to be fair - since you mentioned the equalizer: Symfonium has that as well :-) If you'd like a bit of feedback on Supersonic, i can certainly tell you what i liked and didn't like :-) (i.e. what's up with the slow-ass scroll speed???) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- dweymouth · 2023-11-03 03:31 Did you try it before official release? Initially the scroll speed was too slow but I adjusted that in the UI library. I don't find it slow anymore though I'm mostly using it on Mac where there's OS momentum scrolling, so maybe it needs further tweaking. No one else has mentioned that but maybe I'll go asking around. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Kaleodis · 2023-11-03 04:13 I'm on the current 0.6.0 - only downloaded a few days ago. I have to do a 1/3 wheel spin (or more) to go down one row. All in all the scrolling thing is quite a minor thing (that's why noone probably mentioned it) - it's mostly the overall UI that's a bit off-putting. If you want I can do a more detailed write-up (either here, via PM or github issues, your choice) when I'm more awake and less drunk ;-) Appreciate the dev-input here though! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- dweymouth · 2023-11-03 04:42 I’d definitely appreciate further feedback when you have the chance! UI can be so subjective - I find Feishin just a bit *much* UI-wise. But next Supersonic update will be a bit of a UI refresh with migrating to the latest Fyne version which brings rounded rectangles to the UI elements. So I could probably get in a few other tweaks as well. I’m thinking of putting a rounded accent rectangle behind the “header” of the album, playlist, and artist pages. Also I may try to improve keyboard navigation some more. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok_Construction4430 · 2023-11-03 05:28 Best music app ever. Thanks for the info. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- PopeMeeseeks · 2023-11-03 07:35 You are of course right sir. It is seen as Subsonic. And the folder thing is indeed a Navidrome thing. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-03 07:36 You might want to test LMS [https://hub.docker.com/r/epoupon/lms](http s://hub.docker.com/r/epoupon/lms) or Gonic. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- blackz0r · 2023-11-03 07:59 Seems to have pretty much every feature imaginable except the ability to modify which buttons show up in the notification and Android Auto. Instant buy when it has that. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-03 08:04 [https://support.symfonium.app/c/feature- requests/8](https://support.symfonium.app/c/feature-requests/8) for feature requests ;) What buttons would maybe be the minimum information to have anything done ;) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- blackz0r · 2023-11-03 08:18 My ideal setup, and the one I had in my previous player, is repeat and shuffle buttons in both places. That's all. With Symfonium, there's a favorite button instead that I'll never use, and then an unnecessary overflow menu in Android Auto to get to the only features I care about. But I appreciate that not everyone shares my preference. The ability to set which buttons are visible and which order they appear in so I can prune it down to just two and not get that overflow menu in AA would be a win for everyone. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-03 08:23 The main issue is that Google have broke the ability for devs to split notification and AA buttons to offer contextual actions and that's stupid but well it's Google. Anyway please open a feature request on the forum, it's not the first time someone mention this so I'll probably look into this. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Silencer306 · 2023-11-03 08:30 Hey man when can iOS users enjoy this? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Zestyclose_Car1088 · 2023-11-03 11:03 Fair enough ---------------------------------------------------------------------- matejdro · 2023-11-03 11:44 Tried Gonic, but it does not expose full directory structure (it requires all files in a folder to be from the same Album: https://github.com/sentriz/gonic#directory-structure) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- matejdro · 2023-11-03 11:44 Tried Gonic, but it does not expose full directory structure (it requires all files in a folder to be from the same Album: https://github.com/sentriz/gonic#directory-structure) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- matejdro · 2023-11-03 11:44 Initial copy can be deleted after transcoding, so I don't really see a problem there. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tolriq · 2023-11-03 11:58 You need to have the room for the initial copy. If you sync 200 Gb of FLAC it will copy everything very fast via wifi even if not on a charger. So you need 200Gb free to have all the files before starting transcoding. Transcoding during the sync is in the end more efficient for the majority of the cases and needs. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- matejdro · 2023-11-03 12:12 Ah yeah, you are right. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- vincenzo_ferrara20 · 2023-11-04 21:24 Is my server and mopidy. It has a web interface, integration with Spotify and YouTube music. The reason why I use it is that it is possible to install the Client even on a reberry zero, and from the server's web interface, specify which Client to send the music to (a bit like Spotify does) This allows me to play music throughout the house or just certain rooms ---------------------------------------------------------------------- next2nothing2 · 2023-11-08 15:59 Symfonium, an ebook reader app and a game ten and a half year ago for a long haul flight.
