Vaultwarden container restarts okay but requires reboot to work reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Elegant_Collection_7 · 2023-11-01 22:51 Hi guys so sorry for being a newbie here. I have Vaultwarden up and running on Synology DSM 7.2 and trying to open admin page to setup SMTP. In Container Manager GUI when I stop the Vaultwarden container I can't turn it back on except rebooting the whole system. It shows running and healthy but can't visit the address. Rebooting the NAS will bring everything back to normal. But the ADMIN\_TOKEN environmental variable never take effect. Always tells me " The admin panel is disabled, please configure the 'ADMIN\_TOKEN' variable to enable it " ChatGPT doesn't seem to know the answer and kept bringing me back to the wiki page. So sorry for being a newbie although I hosted php forums back in the day on Windows 2000 I can't perform a single restart on a service. Pls help. Much thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Elegant_Collection_7 · 2023-11-02 04:37 Turned out the assigned port has changed after restarting the container. How do I go about making it fixed? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-11-02 05:20 Ask /r/Synology ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Elegant_Collection_7 · 2023-11-02 05:35 I did and was suggested to ask here. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-11-02 05:36 But your question is now about how to change the setting in the Synology Container Manager, right? So isnt /r/Synology the ideal place to ask about a specific Synology question?
