Plex local streaming, who has the media?
reddit / selfhosted

Hi,

Just configured Plex on my local network, through docker (CasaOS),
that machine has VPN on 100% of the time, on the host.

Now, with Plex, I can stream my offline media to other devices, ok
there.

But the plex has other options like Live TV, what is "downloading"
this other media that i do not have locally? is it the client app or
my server?

The server would need to have Live TV enabled, and when it does, it
receives it and streams it to the client.

Why not ask /r/Plex?
