Pi 5 (Bookworm) with Seafile?? reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- storm4077 · 2023-10-31 16:17 Has anyone managed to get Seafile working on the pi5 with the new Raspberry Pi Bookworm OS? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-10-31 16:53 Yes, anyone has. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- storm4077 · 2023-10-31 16:54 Have you? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-10-31 17:05 Maybe. Do you have a real question? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- storm4077 · 2023-10-31 17:18 Is it compatible with Bookworm? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-10-31 17:35 The recommended way to run a Seafile server is through Docker, and then it absolutely works with Debian Bookworm as host. If you want to go against the recommendation and install it manually on host, its different. The current version of the Community Edition supports Debian 10-12 as you can see here: https://cloud.seatable.io/dtable/external- links/a85d4221e41344c19566/?tid=0000&vid=0000 However if you look at their Raspi specific releases they only provide them for Bullseye: https://github.com/haiwen/seafile-rpi/releases Thats not very surprising since Bookworm was released in June and their latest release is from May. So maybe the next will one offer official Bookworm support. Why are you asking here for Seafile support? They provide a community forum https://forum.seafile.com/ for that, or you can buy a license and receive support from them directly. This here is not a techsupport-for-every-possible-software subreddit.
