My refurbished HP Elitedesk 800 G5 mini will arrive in a couple of
days. Specs are i7 8700, 16GB, 1TB. I'll add 16GB to this in a few
days.

What are your distro recommendations? What would you run on it? Any
general tips and tricks?

asked and discussed so many times.

Precisely because it is not unique. Someone is using it already and
can provide guidance, assistance, or inspiration.

That doesnt make any sense... because it is not unique means that
almost all the existing discussions like "best distro" and "where to
get started" and "beginner tips" apply to your case as well.

Its impressive how allergic some people are to just even trying to
search and saving their own time.
