Is this disk dying? reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- light5out · 2023-10-30 19:15 So I just heard of scrutiny and installed it in unraid, it is showing that one of my disks failed one of the sections. When I run the "short smart test" in unraid I get no errors. But I did notice that by default notifications were unchecked for this data point, when I changed that unraid immediately had a yellow pop up. The drive is under warranty, I am not sure if this is something that would be covered under warranty since it hasn't failed yet. https://preview.redd.it/uh33gqqa3exb1.jpg?width=1346&format=pjpg&auto= webp&s=1bd6d31a895ece500771d743066df9d0507d676c ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-10-30 19:52 Try /r/Homelab /r/HomeServer /r/unRAID and such. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- selfhosted-ModTeam · 2023-10-30 20:14 This post is being removed due to the subject not being related to the "selfhosted" theme of the community.
