Any Podcast player for Android/Windows/Linux?

Are there solutions for listening to a podcast on Android to continue
listening on a computer at home later? Also important is the ability
to synchronize listened episodes, subscribed podcasts, etc.

The only thing I hate about Audiobookshelf is that I cannot control my
cast device's volumes with the host device.

Usually when you're casting something, changing my phone's volume
would change my speaker's volume. With audiobookshelf, I cannto do
that.

Irks me a lot.

From what I understand, this is just a service to sync metadata, and I
need something else to download podcasts as files?

No, it can also download podcasts by itself.

Okay, I see it now. On the admin account I add and download the
podcasts to the server, and on the user account I download them from
the server to the player.
