Calendar / dashboard / anything for scheduled backups or jobs reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Kimbaras · 2023-10-24 12:03 Hey everyone! As the title says, I'm on the look for... something, that allows me to keep track of various scheduled jobs (like backups scheduled at XX:YY, cronjob scheduled at ZZ:WW and so on). I've already tried a couple of options, like the classic spredsheet, a calendar plugin on Nextcloud, various calDAV options (the few ones that had an integrated UI were... delusional to be polite) but not really satisfied with anything to be honest. I've seen there is a plugin for Grafana which I haven't tried yet and will be done in the next days (I'll need to resurrect the Grafana installation I did a while ago). But if anyone got experience with it, feedback would be appreciated. I'm not really after anything particular (could be docker, cloned from github, single packages, etc.) just something that is "nice to look at". Could also be a dashboard adapted too. The only requirement? That it should be selfhosted (duh) and a webapp (I don't want to install a client, maybe an Android app it's ok, but not a PC client or the likes) . Open the gates and let the ideas flows! Thanks everyone! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-10-24 12:15 Cronicle, crontab-ui ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Kimbaras · 2023-10-24 12:46 Both options are nice, from a quick read Cronicle seems more interesting, at least for my scope. Thanks for the suggestions! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-10-24 13:16 Enjoy :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- osuhickeys · 2023-10-24 13:26 Take a look at selfhosting [healthchecks.io](https://healthchecks.io) as another option. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Kimbaras · 2023-10-24 13:57 Cool, looks also promising! Will check for sure, thanks! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- querylab · 2023-10-24 14:18 Check out [https://n8n.io/](https://n8n.io/) the best for me so far I can make dozens of cronjobs with ntfy to send me reminders.
