Nextcloud AIO Yaml Issues reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- fst916 · 2023-10-24 05:39 I am trying to deploy nextcloud aio in proxmox. I am trying to run docker compose to pull the image but when I run the command, I get an error stating "services must be a mapping". I'm sure its an indentation problem but im not sure how to fix it. below is my yaml config: version: "3.8" volumes: nextcloud\_aio\_mastercontainer: name: nextcloud\_aio\_mastercontainer services: nextcloud: image: nextcloud/all-in-one:latest restart: unless-stopped container\_name: nextcloud-aio-mastercontainer volumes: \- nextcloud\_aio\_mastercontainer:/mnt/docker-aio-config \- /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock:ro ports: \- 8195:8080 # change the port on the left side if it's already in use on your host system. environment: \- APACHE\_PORT=11000 # change this port number if 11000 is already in use on your host system. \- APACHE\_DISABLE\_REWRITE\_IP=1 \- NEXTCLOUD\_TRUSTED\_DOMAINS= # Your domain name + proxy host IP \- TRUSTED\_PROXIES= # proxy host IP ---------------------------------------------------------------------- fst916 · 2023-10-24 05:40 `version: "3.8"` `volumes:` `nextcloud_aio_mastercontainer:` `name: nextcloud_aio_mastercontainer` `services:` `nextcloud:` `image: nextcloud/all-in-one:latest` `restart: unless-stopped` `container_name: nextcloud-aio-mastercontainer` `volumes:` `- nextcloud_aio_mastercontainer:/mnt/docker-aio-config` `- /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock:ro` `ports:` `- 8195:8080 # change the port on the left side if it's already in use on your host system.` `environment:` `- APACHE_PORT=11000 # change this port number if 11000 is already in use on your host system.` `- APACHE_DISABLE_REWRITE_IP=1` `- NEXTCLOUD_TRUSTED_DOMAINS= # Your domain name + proxy host IP` `- TRUSTED_PROXIES= # proxy host IP` ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-10-24 05:43 > I get an error stating "services must be a mapping". I'm sure its an indentation problem but im not sure how to fix it. below is my yaml config: How should we figure out your indentation of the YML when you post it unformatted here? Use [reddit markdown](https://www.reddit.com/wiki/ma rkdown#wiki_code_blocks_and_inline_code) to format it properly as code so we can really see it and spot a error, or simply put your entire compose on a site like https://www.pastebin.com and share the link to it. Btw /r/Nextcloud and /r/Docker both exist for this. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- fst916 · 2023-10-24 05:45 sorry, I was trying to figure that out. Here is the pastebin link: https://pastebin.com/Aix4xAFc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-10-24 05:49 That YML is correct and it doesnt produce a "services must be a mapping" error for me. Try to run it without - NEXTCLOUD_TRUSTED_DOMAINS= # Your domain name + proxy host IP - TRUSTED_PROXIES= # proxy host IP as i could imagine the way you format that can cause problems. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- fst916 · 2023-10-24 05:53 i tried running that and it still gives me same error. [https://imgur.com/MQsf58X](https://imgur.com/MQsf58X) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-10-24 06:01 It starts up without any error for me, even including those two env var lines. Either your Docker installation is somehow messed up, or whatever you pasted into that pastebin is not 100% the same as the YML you are actually trying to run. And again: > Btw /r/Nextcloud and /r/Docker both exist for this. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ElevenNotes · 2023-10-24 06:12 When you work on windows, and you copy and paste into a linux session, make sure that your linux client supports the removal of CR on each new line you copy, otherwise you copy CRLF and your linux host can’t read the file properly and gives these kinds of errors. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- fst916 · 2023-10-24 09:28 i will try to type out the whole thing instead of copy and paste. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ElevenNotes · 2023-10-24 09:30 Don’t, just use a client that will convert CRLF to LF for you, like putty, kitty.
