A web UI for Podman, ContainerUp reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- waiwaier · 2023-10-23 20:58 Hello everyone, I created a project recently, it's called [ContainerUp](https://containerup.org/). A demo is also available. Podman is an alternative of Docker. ContainerUp focuses on Podman with simple and clear interface. You can manage your containers and images on your browser. I want your suggestions! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- alexanderadam__ · 2023-10-29 22:21 Oh that's wonderful! It's also great that you added the demo! <3 Maybe you could also add screenshots to [the features page](https://containerup.org/features/)? I'm looking for something that will be Heroku like but works with unprivileged Podman. So not only the managing interface but also easy deployment and integration into NGINX or Traefik. Maybe even supporting [Heroku buildpacks](https://github.com/heroku?q=buildpack&type=all). Are you planning on going into such a direction? And I hope that it's okay that [I opened some issues](https://github.c om/ContainerUp/containerup/issues/created_by/alexanderadam) which might be nice? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- waiwaier · 2023-10-30 03:24 Thank you for your ideas! I will add screenshots to the website very soon. This project is still in a very alpha stage, and still lacks a lot of basic features. Currently, ContainerUp hasn't been tested with unprivileged Podman yet, but for sure it will be done and will be optimized for that in the near future. Integration with NGINX or Traefik will also be a very popular feature, and it may come in the version 0.2.0. I'm not familiar with Heroku however, and I will have a look. I'll follow up the issues on GitHub. Again, thank you for your support!
