I didn't expect that post to blow up and for the good feedback I
appreciate it a lot! That being said in the meantime since I don't
have the time or the money to get a server going feel free to join the
discord to tune into the channel. Currently I have it playing nothing
but Horror movies and Halloween cartoon specials for the rest of
October. I have old classics like John Carpenter movies, Nightmare on
Elm Street Series, Friday the 13th Series, Halloween, to more modern
stuff Taking of Debrah Logan, Smile, Malignant. And a bunch of other
essentials inbetween. Full schedule is on the discord!

Anyways again thank you for the awesome feedback and hopefully I can
get a legit setup going soon. I don't do this for any money  it was
just designed ideally to have something playing on your phone or tv in
the background while you're doing something. If I'm gonna have
something in the background might as well make it something good lol

cool update.. ive been thinking of making my own "in-house" channel
lately the idea is to make it controllable by a webapp and to host the
channel using OBS then use pyatv apple tv deeplinking to autosend it
to tvs around the house.. so far i figured out i can just make up my
own picture in picture.. if i get creative i can make a scan through
tv guide overlay for my normal iptv that shows on the obs channel
which recasts locally via rtsp to a selfhosted rtsp server.. this
opens up some cool other possibilities like using an ipad to
freezeframe and a html page i can draw on to send data to the screen..
if you're only hosting one channel id definitely consider looking into
what you can automate with OBS and creative python

Damn thank you guys for checking the page and for checking the discord
out! I just made some new Halloween bumps that'll be airing inbetween
programs. I honestly didn't plan on having Halloween up this year this
was all done in the span of a day lmao

Currently I got Scary Movie 2 playing then Cannibal Holocaust and Dawn
of the Dead 2004 after. Then it's a bunch of Ghost Adventures Episodes
rest of the night and early morning. I should also note I am in
Central Us time.

Dude I can tell you one thing you know way more than I do I'm here
stoned to the bone watching tv LOL but I can tell you that I've done
everything on Windows through DizqueTV via Plex. Rn I have 4 channels
setup but I can only access them on my own network. Honestly with
cocpyright bots hunting IPTV streams I'm considering just streaming
from 4 pcs to discord one for each channel LOL
