I have a Synology NAS 920 and amd very new to setting up a media
server for viewing photos, videos, etc.

Can you all help me get going with the best platform for media
streaming phones, TV and PCs?

Also, any other cool things I can do for photo and video editing right
on the NAS/media server plus other fun apps and things I can do.

Thanks!!

Look at using docker, one of the tool that would help you the most is
Portainer

For media sharing : Plex and Jellyfin are the most used, there is Emby
too. you can try and see wish one suits you the most.

And u/thekrautboy already mentioned : [https://github.com/awesome-

Photo/Video editing would be limited due to the cpu on the machine so
be aware :)

Have fun !
