Replace all my search engine with SearxNG

Hello

Low level question. I already have SearxNG up and running.

Now i want to replace all my search engines with it on:

* Desktop Browser (Mainly Edge but Chrome as well)
* Mobile Browser (Android Chrome)
* Mobile Search Bar

I did not found the information on how to do it except for the Desktop
Browser that's prety straightforward.
But on the Mobile i need help to se if it's even possible.

Can you please help me?

You need to specify what OS (iOs or Android) and the browsers you use.
Without that, there’s no magic wand to figure out your specifics.

I’m sure it’s same as in iOs. Are you able to locate the option for
“Search Engines” under the settings? That where to change it.

* It should be in this format: https://thesomain.xcx/search?q=%s

Just replace the domain part.

I tried SearxNG a while ago, but I had a lot of problems.  You having

I see one includes mobile search bar support.

Not sure about mobile chrome but mobile firefox works well with it.

I have it running and honestly although I really want to love and use
it, I cant. Text search works "ok" but anything else just sucks,
image, maps, video search ... Forget it.

Search for "Supermarket" in the Maps tab. What are the results for
you?

I remember the problem I was having, I was constantly getting
complaints from Google throttling me and asking for captcha.  Do you
get this?

works.

if you are using docker+traefik+seaxng then it should be part of
external network.

It technically work, just the results are presented in a unusable way.
