If you set up a kanban board approach, and don't have more than one or two items in your "doing" column then it forces you to finish one project before you start the next. To keep myself organised I've hooked my to do list up to my calendar, for any items I add with a date (Trello does the same though I don't use that to the same extent). I try to book ahead, for the week, with a couple of evenings set aside for my own projects. Typically after the family have all gone to bed. My calendar is king. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- youmeiknow · 2023-10-16 20:37 That's nice.. Thank you! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- mrashley · 2023-10-17 04:02 Bullet journal. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- SadGrimReaper · 2023-10-17 12:06 Trello is great. I use it at home and at work for projects, tickets, life style improvement and so on. Without Trello my life would be a mess😂 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- YTsshfd8H5rb · 2023-10-18 09:50 All those advises about software you can use to organize your time better and do more which seems to appear here are bullshit. The only thing you need to know is that you've strictly limited amount of time and the only you can do is to distribute your time and efforts between all this things. There's no silver bullet which will allow to get everything you want done. There's only priorities you set for each, lets name it task. If priority for your "life automation" is set to low - it's only your choice. To get more time for that you can increase priority for it and as a consequence prefer it over family, friends, rest and so on. Or you can delegate some of chores to someone else. It's also valid option. but it seems not to be acceptable by you. You can get more time by cutting out some things like searching reddit, watching series, doing sports, etc. But it will give you more time in rather rare cases. You can give it a try but mostly we don't want to get rid of such things. To summarize. You can do anything but can't do everything. Prioritize things you want to do more
