I'm on the hunt for a VPS with some serious horsepower - 16 cores and 32GB of RAM. Excluding Hetzner, Oracle, and Contabo, i I'd like to explore alternative options. To help narrow it down, I need a VPS with 16core/32gb more.. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ElevenNotes · 2023-10-14 15:27 Budget? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Dry_Shallot5074 · 2023-10-14 15:28 Under 40$ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ElevenNotes · 2023-10-14 15:29 Good luck. Never had any issues with their service / account. Strange that you got kicked out after signing up. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- LavaCreeperBOSSB · 2023-10-14 17:20 Oracle I believe is under 40 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MRP_yt · 2023-10-14 17:20 You living a dream ! :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ElevenNotes · 2023-10-14 17:22 I would have a poor life if that would be a dream. My wife and kids are my dream. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Dry_Shallot5074 · 2023-10-14 17:24 I also mailed them, but they still haven't replied. I think Because Weekend 🙄 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Dry_Shallot5074 · 2023-10-14 17:24 Its not ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MRP_yt · 2023-10-14 17:26 Don't get me wrong .... I always thought that Data centres staff gets decent $$$ for what they do. And to your 2nd part of comment. Same here, family first. My job sometimes requires couple late / night shifts ... not a fan of doing them. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- MRP_yt · 2023-10-14 17:28 Could be. Overall, i am happy how Hetzner provides service for me. Let's see what they will come back via email, could be your account creation has a bug or something. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ElevenNotes · 2023-10-14 17:37 That sucks, I hope its not too often per month. Spending time with the family is the most precious thing there is. Money isn't everything, as long as you have enough to afford what you need and a little extra on top (4 times vacation a year is not needed for instance). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- apbt-dad · 2023-10-14 17:53 Weird they did. I see you contacted them. They answer phone calls as well. I have a physical box and use robot. No problems. You can go robot as well but that might be over your 40 € budget. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- One-Commercial6210 · 2023-10-14 18:01 Yh ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-10-14 19:53 Are the rejects from /r/Hetzner now leaking to here?
