Vaultwarden w/o public domain reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ramzedin · 2023-10-14 14:00 Hello all, anyone experience with Vaultwarden/Bitwarden Unified in localhost (security reason). How do I add a TLS certificate for my vaultwarden docker image? I tried Caddy but it's a little tricky. What I've tried: [https://github.com/dani- garcia/vaultwarden/wiki/Running-a-private-vaultwarden-instance-with- Let%27s-Encrypt-certs](https://github.com/dani- garcia/vaultwarden/wiki/Running-a-private-vaultwarden-instance-with- Let%27s-Encrypt-certs) Ramzedin ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy · 2023-10-14 14:12 Thousands of tutorials exist already about using Caddy with Lets Encrypt, or Traefik, or Nginx or whatever else. "its a little tricky" is useless. If you expect someone to help, then mention exactly what you did, what went wrong, what error messages you get, log output etc. Vaultwarden also has a discussions page on their Github where you can ask questions: https://github.com/dani-garcia/vaultwarden/discussions Why not do that? They wrote that guide and they wrote the software, doesnt that make it ideal? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- bushwald · 2023-10-14 14:40 Tailscale serve is the easiest solution. It's free, you don't need to set up the TLS yourself, and you can access it on any device you add to your tailnet.
