I just installed Mattermost Omnibus - but I only get the "Welcome to
nginx" page
reddit / selfhosted

I installed mattermost omnibus on a freshly set up ubuntu server.

There's no domain name, I simply used the IP which has been assigned
by my router.

But now when I try to reach my mattermost server through that IP I
only get the nginx page.

Do I have to change any settings?

In the "tutorial" I have watched he simply installed it with one
command and it was running.

Btw it's intended to only run in my home network.

You provide zero details of the setup, so i will just point you at the
mattermost support: https://support.mattermost.com/hc/en-us/

Well I don't know that details you need.

I follow the official guide:

omnibus.html](https://docs.mattermost.com/install/installing-
mattermost-omnibus.html)

And I watched this "tutorial":
