ngnix proxy in a local network

I have a truenas scale server with some apps in it. they a all uses
truenas ip with a different ports. im using pfsense box as a dns
server so I pointed test.loc to a pfsense ip and made a NAT rule to
redirect lan address traffic to ngnix ip port 8080. In ngnix i have a
host test.loc pointing to the correct ip and port. For some reason
this setup isnt working. I have similar setup for my global dns with
nat redirecting wan address to ngnix ip port 8080 and its working like
a charm, is there any special thing i need to do to a lan network?
