I wondered if anyone knew of any self hosted solutions for a leaderboard. I’m a trainer for an outsourcing company and I’ve been looking for ways to increase engagement. One of the suggestions from my latest group was a leader board based on the results from the knowledge check quizzes we have at the end of each module. Try as I might I’ve not been able to find something that suits my needs. I’m ideally looking for a simple self hosted solution with a front end that can be shared on screen every now (that ideally has a transparent background so it can be overlayed on top of my already additional content produced using H2R graphics) After speaking to managers they have given it the green light and if all goes well would like to roll out to other trainers too. With that in mind I’m think the solution would need a simple admin page that the trainer could use to add names and give and take away points that feed into a database and this updates the front end. (My main reason for think of a database would be multiple session could be ran at the same time without having to fire up multiple instances.) I know it may be a bit of a long shot but wondered if anyone in this amazing community had come across anything like this. The main plugin is free. Additionally you need the Participant Log plugin. I implemented a school competition with it, where 120 school classes can collect kilometers and enter them on the website. The entries are summed up, an average is calculated and all classes are ranked. If you want to "save" your leaderboard, you can click on the 📝 icon, copy the content of the text-area and save it to a `.txt` for later use...
