Mealie on Raspberry Pi 4 via Docker reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- TheOriginalWebasdf · 2023-10-12 22:19 Hi all. I decided to fire up my Pi4 (which I haven't really used for anything yet though I bought it a year ago.) Any tips for getting it to run in Docker? When I try to run it, Docker is looking for linux/arm/v7 arch. I can't seem to find any images that are built for linux/arm/v7...which is strange since according to the web, the Pi4 is a 64-bit arm processor and the info I've found says that arm/v7 is 32 bit. Ideas? TIA. `user@raspberrypi:~/mealie $ docker compose up -d` `[+] Running 0/1` `⠇ mealie Pulling 0.8s` `no matching manifest for linux/arm/v7 in the manifest list entries` `user@raspberrypi:~/mealie $` ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ElevenNotes · 2023-10-12 22:23 Install aarch64 OS, like Alpine Linux. You probably installed armhf. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- TheOriginalWebasdf · 2023-10-12 23:32 I just thought of this. I likely installed a 32 bit OS instead of the 64 bit version. Haha. I'll have a look at it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lucassou · 2023-10-13 06:55 Yeah possibly because I've been able to run mealie on my raspberry pi (I had 64 but installed) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ScandinavianWays · 2023-10-13 11:30 I used to run Mealie on RPI 4 with Docker on the 32bit version. It should work if you specify Mealie version 0.4.3 since that is the last version that supported Arm/v7 on 32 bit. (They dropped support in the 0.5 version). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- sk1nT7 · 2023-10-13 15:42 Only versions =< 0.4.3 support armv7. The newer ones are for amb64 and arm64. https://hub.docker.com/r/hkotel/mealie/tags Akternatively, try to build the Docker images yourself. Maybe it just works. Likely not.
