Help with Mealie install

Hi

still new to docker and portainer.

i have installed docker&portainer on my proxmox server and want to
install Mealie. I manage to install it but on the browser window in
Mealie there is no plus icon to add recipe and can't use the menu.

this is my docker compose code, does it look correct? I'm a bit unsure
about the volume, because i don't really understand it 100% procent.

What happens if you click on the thee lines at the top left of mealie?

You must be logged to add receipes.

you also need a postgresql database

As far as I know: Not necessarily. If no PostgreSQL ist configured,
Mealie automatically uses SQLite.

To OP: According to [the Mealie-
Docs](https://nightly.mealie.io/documentation/getting-
started/installation/sqlite/), you have to set at least a
`BASE_URL`-Variable.

Also, according to Docs:
- Username: changeme@example.com
- Password: MyPassword

It's a good idea to read the Docs. :)

Check BaseURL and be sure to be logged in (Check their docs)

Also, it's Europe/Copenhagen

Got it to work now, couldn't login with the default credentials ,
tried reinstall with docker hub image instead, now I'm able to login
and, now it works... thanks for the help guys

just saw that i running and old version 0.5 is there a easy way to
update to the lastest version 1.00 it won't pull the lastest from
dockerhub

got it to work but realized that I installed version 0.5 , manged to
reinstall with version 1.00 but I'm not able to login with default
credentials changeme@email.com / MyPassword , how can that be

Why not use the docker compose file from the documentation? Worked for
me, although swapped out the docker volume for a mapped directory on
my system.

made a clean install and used the compose you gave, now it works fine

Before you do this, make sure you look at the feature comparison.  I
intentionally haven't upgraded to 1.0 because of some 0.5 features
that haven't come forward yet (meal plan notifications and recipes
being private by default were the deal breakers for me)

the only problem I have is that I'm not able to copy my shopping list,
that's is kind of a deal breaker for me, using it when I'm ordering
food.
