Issue with installing webmin - missing dependency Python

Hello, I'm trying to install webmin, but there is an error message E:
Package 'python' has no installation candidate .. and other error
messages - I have tried to install various versions of Python since ..
so I guess the folders are all messed up?

I have already successfully installed LAMP etc in preparation to host
several websites ..

I want to install webmin as I will installing Joomla and it will be
much easier for me to organise everything as I was doing from the
cpanel as with paid hosting before.

Any advice about what's going on with Python - should I do a fresh
install first and then install webmin & it's dependencies first then
LAMP?

Any help & advice please.
