Thank you very much to everyone working on NocoDB. Integrating it with my Mattermost server was super easy. The notifications whenever a row was INSERTed into a table came in handy when I was house shopping with my wife. It made it easier for each of us to keep up with the other's new finding of a listing, and its addition to the spreadsheet/NocoDB. Very slick UI. Looking forward to the calendar view! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- neumaticc Β· 2023-10-12 01:51 the only thing worse than code is no code ---------------------------------------------------------------------- stryakr Β· 2023-10-12 03:49 What does that even mean ---------------------------------------------------------------------- RandomName01 Β· 2023-10-12 04:36 Probably that coding can be annoying and/or difficult, but that abstracting it away (like NocoDB does) isn’t always a good idea either. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- stryakr Β· 2023-10-12 05:40 His position as that it’s an absolute, which is false as you’re commenting; leveraging no code/low code largely depends on the problem space and the abilities of the one driving the solution. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- agent-squirrel Β· 2023-10-12 07:03 Exactly! Like providing the ability for your non-technical staff to query and visualise data in your databases without teaching them SQL or writing a dedicated UI. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- stryakr Β· 2023-10-12 17:11 100%
