What Docker image to use for accessing and tagging a picture collection booru-like? reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- J4id · 2023-10-10 15:38 When I scroll through Twitter (or 𝕏), I often download funny pictures of known personalities. I have several hundreds of those and it’s hard to quickly find a specific one. They are tagged with things like “kanye_west”, “kanye”, “ye”, “doner”, “berlin”. I currently use IPTC keywords and XnView categories, but I would like to migrate away from it to a [booru](https://safebooru.org/index.php?p age=post&s=list&tags=all)-like server. Requirements: - Should allow quick tagging and tag search - Should provide up-to-date Docker images for amd64 Nice-to-haves: - Should read the original pictures without mirroring the files (so I don’t want to upload them using the web UI, but instead share access via Docker volumes) - Should have a boolean search syntax like booru - Should be able to sync tag database with the files’ IPTC fields, so I don’t have to start from zero - Should read (animated) WebP and AVIF I already took a look at [Immich](https://demo.immich.app/auth/login) (which doesn’t seem to be tag-focused enough for my use case) and [Hydrus](https://github.com/hydrusnetwork/hydrus) (which looked to complex, judged by the [example compose.yml](https://hydrusnetwork.github.io/hydrus/docker.html)). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- EsEnZeT · 2023-10-10 21:50 Szurubooru, hydrus
