Issue with Mirotalk

Hi!

Not sure if this is the correct subreddit, but I found some posts
related to Mirotalk so I'll just ask this here.

I setup Mirotalk on my home server using docker. It appears to be
working fine, users can access it both from the local network and from
remote locations.

However, everything is muted. No sounds is received (or sent?) from
users.

How can I debug this?

On the UI at least, no issue is reported.

Do you have proper HTTPS setup? I remember modern browsers will not
enable webcam and audio for insecure communication channels like HTTP
without SSL certs.

I can actually enable video (sorry, forgot to mention that!), only
audio is not working. I see chrome asking for permissions though, so
mic appears to be detected.

I talked to the developer a few weeks ago about an existing issue due
to which participants voice was not being recorded while recording the
meeting.
A few days later he responded that the work is in progress but
recording should be working fine by now.
I guess most likely due to WIP, this issue audio issue has come.
I haven't checked my instance yet but if you want quick response you
should join Mirotalk's Discord server, that guy is quite responsive
there.


Wel it's amazing to see how one single person is single handedly
managing so many open source projects!
