Help getting SimpleLogin to work on Synology NAS reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Past-Statistician358 · 2023-10-09 21:13 Was anyone able to get SL working on a Synology NAS? Their github repo doesn't provide helpful instructions to install using Docker compose. I already spent hours trying to get it to work. I found someone's barebones [Docker compose](https://github.com/simple- login/app/issues/916#issuecomment-1190583333) attempt but it's not working for me. I tried creating my account but nothing happens after clicking the button. I don't get any messages, errors, logs, nothing. Is there any simpler and easier way using Docker-Compose? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Wojojojo90 · 2023-10-09 22:42 Have you set up postfix? That application's instructions include installing a native (non-docker) postfix instance on the host. So unless you did that, or set up an analogous docker container for postfix, you're missing a component by just converting the docker commands to docker-compose. > I don't get any messages, errors, logs, nothing The logs for the container are blank? Or are you talking about the web UI? Have you checked the logs for any of the containers themselves? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Past-Statistician358 · 2023-10-09 23:50 I found this [repo](https://github.com/simple-login/simplelogin- postfix-docker) of what seems to be their official postfix docker container. I added this code to the docker-compose but still nothing happens. `postfix:` `container_name: simplelogin-postfix` `image: simplelogin/postfix` `environment:` `ALIASES_DEFAULT_DOMAIN: mydomain.com` `DB_USER: myuser` `DB_PASSWORD: mypassword` `DB_HOST: postgresql://myuser:mypassword@sl-db:5432/simplelogin` `#DB_PASSWORD_FILE: '/run/secrets/db_password'` `DB_NAME: simplelogin` `LETSENCRYPT_EMAIL: support@mydomain.com` `EMAIL_HANDLER_HOST: 127.0.0.1` `POSTFIX_FQDN: mail.mydomain.com` `RELAY_HOST: myisp.internet.com` `# SSL_CERT_FOLDER: /mnt/certs` `volumes:` `- ./postfix:/etc/postfix` >The logs for the container are blank? Or are you talking about the web UI? Have you checked the logs for any of the containers themselves? Yes I see no errors or warning in the logs. I check the logs for containers like the sl-app , sl-db, the postfix container. I also don't see anything in the web UI itself.
