Hi All,

for a bunch of friends and myself I'm looking for a selfhosted
blogging (or similar) tool, that can be self-hosted and relatively
easy customised to provide some if not most of the features below:

*(Up front: I've experimented with Grav for some time now and just now
set up a Wordpress test setup -- but I still like the idea of flat
file storage for later portability)*

Needed/Wanted features

* have a private area, which can only be read by those with an account
* Allow multiple taxonomies e.g. category, tags, locations, etc
   * \#hashtags (a pain to implement with Grav, much easier with
Wordpress for instance)
* easy internal linking (eg. autocomplete of links or similar) (to
create that net of interconnected entries over time)
* easy media handling & galleries
* different or customisable content types, eg. blog posts, articles,
dictionary entries
* nice2have: export of blog later on

Any cool suggestions you have, any tools i've missed in looking
around? Thanks

For an actual bog, look into Ghost.

For a knowledge base, look into Mediawiki and bookstack.
