Adguard home - weird rewrite issue

Hey y'all!
Using Portainer to manage the docker installs.

Have adguard home set-up, works great using the ip as the DNS.

Android private DNS requires a domain, so have setup a a record etc,
which takes me to the adguard instance, and also setup the rewrite
rule.

When using this in private DNS on android nothing loads, well, kinda.

If I go to the IP of my vps within a browser everything works fine

But soon as I go to Google.com, nothing loads?

Why not ask in /r/Adguard? Youve posted there before.
