Monitor docker container usage statistics

hello everyone! Hope somebody can push me in the right direction on
this one
I have a Homer Dashboard docker container exposed publicly with
Cloudflared and Cloudflare Access. The Homer instance serves as a
dashboard for a lot of people and it would be really helpful to
somehow monitor access (number of users active, time on page, which
links are clicked, Bounce-rate, etc.)

Does anyone know a way to integrate analytics software like Matomo or
Plausible to get statistics from docker containers? I dont really know
how to get at it.
Homer runs in HTML so best idea I had so far was to access the
container files and edit the html to include the trackers. Any more
long-term solution?

Plausible (and im sure others too) supports server-side analytics
through API. Meaning you could set your reverse proxy to send requests
to Plausible without modifying Homer itself. For Traefik there is a
Plausible plugin.

Does this work with NGINX-Proxy?
But it would also mean I have to get rid of Cloudflare Tunnels and
return back to opening ports - no?

I dont know. Look at the Plausible documentation? I would assume there
is way.

No? One has nothing to do with the other.

kind of- doesnt it? So I would have to point all cloudflare tunnels at
the NginxProxy Port and let the Proxy do the rest of the work?
