Self hosted community property management? reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- shock81 · 2023-10-05 13:01 Hello, Does anyone knows about a self hosted community property management software? I live in a building where 9 apartments plus a small commercial local exists. Each owner has to pay a % of the expenses of the building and I would like to find a self hosted open source software to manage the owner's community expenses. Does anyone knows abou a software I can use? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- DownWithMatt · 2023-10-05 14:08 I don't know of anything like this, but I will be following this post because I too have a use for such software. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- seidler2547 · 2023-10-05 16:08 I just use LibreOffice Calc. I mean, it's just a few numbers and calculations. If you want to go fancy, install OnlyOffice Document Editor and you have your self-hosted "Google Sheets". ---------------------------------------------------------------------- nashosted · 2023-10-06 03:08 I’d use NocoDB. It has a lot of functions for stuff like this. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- tvlkidd · 2023-10-06 06:06 Tbh I wouldn’t bother with any PMS… with 10 units to track you’re better off setting up a spreadsheet I Google sheets and sharing it read only with the other owners It will give you the maximum amount of customization with the least amount of work You already know what the % share is for each unit and you have all the bills and categories I would setup a sheet that has the building address the categories and the months, then one sheet for each unit that tracks the percent of the whole. Then do a mail merge document to create an “invoice” and email or hand deliver that with the monthly overview You can create a lender sheet to track billings and payments Or if you really wanted to get fancy use GNUCash… You could try Odoo. It the setup is going to take forever and probably not worth it Good lick
