Always on, shuddled media playlist?
reddit / selfhosted

After finally adding all the episodes of Seinfeld to my Plex library I
thought it might be fun to replicate the old days of turning on the TV
and just watching an ep or two of whatever was playing, rather than
specifically selecting something "on demand".

Currently when I'm in the mood I'll go to a series I like and just
"shuffle" and watch a random episode, but sometimes I don't really
feel like anything specific and would rather just watch whatever
random crap comes on.

Is there something self hosted that can replicate this? I just want to
be able to turn on my TV and start watching whatever is playing, even
if it's halfway through the episode.

Thanks for any suggestions.
