Docker container refuses connection when connected to second network reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- EVILxMANIAC 路 2023-10-02 14:49 So I'm encountering an issue I'm not really sure how to solve. I have 2 containers that refuse connections after being added to a second network. I asked a streaming vpn dev if he had any ideas and he said it's most likely a routing or binding issue. Unfortunately due to how docker works I can't use net-stat or install net tools or net utils do to the packages not being found, so I can't really check what is happening. I'm kinda at a loss on how to solve this or where I should even start. I have several other containers setup in the exact same manner and they all work fine but these 2 break and unfortunately they are pretty key containers in our operations. What do I do? Please keep the conversation on how to fix this rather than why I need this setup. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- bastiparti 路 2023-10-02 15:00 Are you running them with compose? If yes, could you please provide your compose file. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy 路 2023-10-02 15:35 > What do I do? Please keep the conversation on how to fix this rather than why I need this setup. Why not start by sharing your exact compose files? Log output? Exact error messages? Btw, this here is not a techsupport sub. /r/Docker exists for example. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- pigers1986 路 2023-10-02 16:10 is the app listening on other adapter ? 馃槝 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- EVILxMANIAC 路 2023-10-03 01:56 It's not a composed docker, it's an unraid Community App Docker container. Also this sub literally has the flair: Need Help. Not to mentionI am self hosted so I think I'm clear. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- EVILxMANIAC 路 2023-10-03 01:56 Nope. Unraid CA docker ---------------------------------------------------------------------- EVILxMANIAC 路 2023-10-03 01:58 Not 100% sure on what you mean here but it's connected to both the bridge and br0 docker networks. Inspect does show 0 ports configured but unraid dash shows otherwise and when it's only connected to 1 network it is accessible from port 80. Might try manually adding a port mapping but I just got home after moving a bunch of stuff and I need to be up early so might have to wait till tomorrow. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- thekrautboy 路 2023-10-03 02:10 Thats not how it works, and if you cant answer which exact container (community app) it is then i dont need to waste my time with you. I think im clear.
