Jellyseerr crashes everyday at around 3am reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Anejey · 2023-10-02 12:16 Hello. My Jellyseerr instance in a Proxmox LXC crashes for some reason, nearly everyday at 3am. I'm not sure how to fix it. It doesn't max out RAM nor CPU. I have Jellyseerr behind NginxPM and use Pi-hole for DNS. Everything (Radarr, Sonarr, Jellyfin) is also referenced by the domain, not ip:port. https://preview.redd.it/tj5gv05u2srb1.png?width=1337&format=png&auto=w ebp&s=c0ae628c0f877e4ea1727f61844848bad45b027f https://preview.redd.it/8ct3zuf44srb1.png?width=1112&format=png&auto=w ebp&s=951b27297d128b6fc76731355766c34d90ba0e7c The last thing on logs is always Jellyfin Sync, but sometimes it crashes early, and other times it crashes at like 3:50, so I'm not sure if that's the actual cause. Pi-hole activity also goes up quite a bit, but it doesn't report anything going wrong in diagnosis. https://preview.redd.it/sbgyl6y63srb1.png?width=638&format=png&auto=we bp&s=069fc061b063ddac580c55ac8aeef3bc4bef1bb6 Once I start Jellyseerr again, the scans finish and everything works as supposed to. I'm suspecting it's Pi-hole that's the issue, but like I said, it reports nothing going wrong. I can provide more info if needed. I'm not really sure where to start looking. Any help is appreciated. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- s_91 · 2023-10-02 14:12 Ask The dev: * Github Discussions: https://github.com/fallenbagel/jellyseerr/discussions * Discord: https://discord.com/invite/ckbvBtDJgC ---------------------------------------------------------------------- AstralProbing · 2023-10-02 14:15 Not really specific to your exact problem, but I've had issues *like* this. If you have unrelated automations or schedules, it's possible they might be affecting this. For example, my router is set to reboot twice a week and the next morning, it usually causes issues with some of my home assistant automations. So, I would look around for any scheduled tasks. Specifically, do you have any scheduled tasks within jellyfin/seer that might be consuming excessive cores or memory? Perhaps try offsetting the times when different tasks run or set them further apart ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Anejey · 2023-10-02 15:44 Yeah, but I wanted to ask here first. Bigger community, and I'm more used to posting to Reddit. Never had any success with Discord and I don't even know how to use Github. I'll figure that out later, if I don't get any help here. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Anejey · 2023-10-02 15:49 I've looked through Jellyfin tasks, backup jobs, and such, but there's no conflict as far as I can see. Also looked at CPU/RAM usage throughout the day and nothing out of the ordinary. I'll try looking deeper, as it could also be related to storage directly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Fallen_bagelarts · 2023-10-02 20:48 Hello. Maintainer of jellyseerr here. Just an FYI, I respond to all support tickets on discord so you might have some success c: Would you mind hoping over to discord so its easier to follow the troubleshooting steps?
