Port forward outside of wireguard connection

I can port forward and run services, and run a wireguard connection
separately/one at a time. But how would I go about running both at the
same time?

That is to allow all server traffic back and forth between wireguard
connection (interface wg), except say allow inbound port XYZ and
return traffic from the local gateway outside of wireguard (interface
eth).

I am using wg-quick, is that the issue? Or do I need to modify the
wireguard config files.

I do **NOT** want to run the inbound service over wireguard.

This is usually done with VMs, i.e. run the stuff you want to go over
Wireguard on VM #1, run the stuff you want to go native on VM #2.
