Discord is just working worse and worse everyday and my friends and i
are looking for a selfhost solution, if possible we are looking for
screen sharing (we use it a lot while gaming) and a desktop client
just for pure comfort

Any ideas?

Give [Screego](https://github.com/screego/server) a look-see.

Mattermost is pretty good and you can run it off docker as well as a
proxmox contsiner.
