Help me identify the problem

So I have a small vps on oracle cloud platform and I set up a mail
server on it. It was working fine till yesterday.  I suddenly could
not send/receive any email and sshed to the machine.(which worked)
however, after 3 mins, the connection was lost and the email server
stopped working. I can only restart the server and re-ssh to it, but
before I could do anything, the connection was lost and the
sending/receiving stopped working.
I'm confused about how I should proceed. Any suggestions are welcome 🙏
and deeeeply appreciated. 😿😿😿

Contact oracle.

probably Oracle blocked the ports. Test it with netcat or tcpdump.

\- from a linux client try to connect with netcat.

nc -zv  25 (you should see port OPEN)

\- Run tcpdump -n "port 25" on your server and try to connect port 25
from another client, or just try to send mail.

you can change the port if you're using SSL. you should see many
things if your port is open.
