I am trying to selfhost mattermost on PopOS!, but it just simply
doesn't want to work.

I followed instructions here:  [Install Mattermost Server on
Ubuntu](https://docs.mattermost.com/install/install-

I am using postgresql database, I have created database
mattermost\_database, I have created user with name mmuser and granted
all privilages to the mattermost\_database.

Then I went into mattermost config and changed datasource like so:

     "postgres://mmuser:test123@localhost:5432/mattermost_database?ssl
mode=disable&connect_timeout=10"

and changed SiteURL to

    http://mm.shidori366.com:8065

and started service with this command:

    sudo systemctl start mattermost

when I go to:
[http://mm.shidori366.com:8065](http://mm.shidori366.com:8065) I get
"Server Not Found".

and when I go to: localhost:8065 I get into Mattermost but I can only
see the top panel and /preparing-workspace keeps appearing and
disappearing in the URL and I cannot do anything on the site.

I already tried to follow guides on youtube but the result is always
the same, while the same works for them...

4 hours trying to fix this, yet no result.

Ya miraste el log de eventos o journalctl -xe y revisa todo. Quizás
por ahí puedas determinar la causa

Log doesn't show any relevant errors, only something like this:

    "License key from https://mattermost.com required to unlock
enterprise

But there were some warnings:

    "Failed to perform initial product notices

This one looks serious:
