Anyone set up a totally firewalled, self-hosted Matrix server and
bridges (Beeper)?

I've been following Beeper for a little bit now and am very impressed
with the project. I'm however not interested in giving my chat
credentials to some startup to set up bridges. I'm considering
setting up both the iMessage bridge and home server while keeping them
offline and only connecting my client apps over my existing VPN.
