Issues installing Limesurvey, database created but no tables populated. Why? reddit / selfhosted ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CobblerYm ยท 2023-09-27 03:59 So I've got two machines I can run docker on. One is my Synology, but my primary machine is a fairly beefy unraid server. On unraid I installed both Mariadb and Limesurvey, and the instance connects properly and creates the database, but the tables never populated and the application complains that the main configuration table doesn't exist. No errors in the logs or anywhere else, just the front end complaining about no configuration database. I install MariaDB on Synology and point the unraid Limesurvey there and same exact thing. I install Limesurvey on Synology and it installs and populates and works perfectly. Same image, same settings, copy and pasted variables, it works perfect. I've tried LTS versions, I've tried multiple versions of MariaDB, and it just doesn't work on unraid. Now that I think of it I had the same issue for osTicket, database issues on unraid but works perfect on Synology. I'm really confounded because it's not like it just can't connect, it can. It even creates the DB. It just can't populate the tables. I just don't know where to start here and wondering if anyone has experienced similar with unraid. I plan to decommission Synology at some point and would prefer having nothing running there. At least one other app, PiWiGo, is able to access MariaDB normally entirely on unraid. Any help on where to start is greatly appreciated.
