Beelink home server, n5095,n95 or n100

Hello,

I'm thinking about making a home server(vpn, jellyfin, torrent
download, pi hole) on ubuntu server with remote web access, like
unraid but free.

At the moment I'm testing unraid on an old laptop(i3-3200) and it's
not possible to watch movies in jellyfin, I don't know if it's the
slow cpu or the 100mb ethernet.

What cpu do you recommend for this? n100 is better but is it
necessary?

Thanks

You might consider if you need AVX chipset instruction support for
your usage, jellyfin or otherwise. I believe the n5095 does not have
AVX, not sure about your other mentioned options.

I‘m using a n5105 and one service on it is a dlna server.

It‘s working fine with no problems, but it also hasn‘t to live
reencode like it could be on jellyfin.

But this also shouldn‘t be a problem, since almost all codecs are
supported in hardware, which is probably the reason why your old i3
struggles so much.

Check Lenovo M900 tiny with i5-6500T.... Cheaper and more capable
unless you want to use PFSence or Opnsense.
