Hello everyone,
I'm looking for an app that can index my photo folder, as I don't want
to upload them again.
Which can resize my photos (to be able to see them faster, without
waiting for them to load too much) and create albums without changing
the main files?

It can, it has a cli bulk upload feature now and you can set to show a
smaller lower quality image as a preview.  Just waiting on CUDA
support now.

Photoview is what I use and works really well. Can't recommend
Photoprism for your use case

Can anyone explain why they consider Immich better than photoprism?

Don't need the photo app to sync my photos because I am syncing my
photos with Nextcloud anyway.

Photoprism costs money, immich doesnt for a full feature set. For me
immich is also way faster, but thats on my Hardware, yours may differ.
Also I like the attitude of the immich devs more, I did not like the
transition to a paid service of PhotoPrism
