How does mIRC know, it had already been installed earlier? reddit / irc ---------------------------------------------------------------------- freelionkings · 2023-12-21 22:17 Hi. When using mIRC and uninstalling it after 0 days of period left, I cleaned system with wise registry cleaner, manually deleted folder C:\\Users\\username\\AppData\\Roaming\\mIRC, did not restart system and reinstalled mIRC. The program did lose its profile preferences but mIRC still knows, the period left 0 days and does not allow me to continue to use. 1) How does mIRC get to know, it was installed once before? 2) How to get rid of any left traces and reinstall and use mIRC with 30 day period again? Best wishes. :-) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- McGoodotnet · 2023-12-21 22:29 What you are looking for is called a key generator. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- freelionkings · 2023-12-21 22:51 I know keygens :-) But the thing is, one doesn't need just a keygenerator but also a cracked executable and probably even one more file and few registry entries. Since I am not sure about the safety of those stuff and cracks I want to use it legally for free. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- fcisco13 · 2023-12-21 22:51 Support the devs and buy it, don't be a jerk! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Uthgaard · 2023-12-21 23:01 Just use Hexchat. It's free, has a familiar feeling interface, and isn't as pushy as mIRC. I guess you could support that dev if you want, but christ, it was made like 30 years ago. I don't really feel like he deserves to be that pushy for basically recompiling it into 64 bit, when modern devs are doing better work without the nag screens. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- freelionkings · 2023-12-21 23:10 I use Hexchat since one day. I feel the difference and honestly a comfort loss. Hm, is there a good way to buy a cheap licence or simply "clean" system of old mIRC stuff? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- GMAK24 · 2023-12-21 23:11 Maybe it's the module shareware of our market. Have you agree? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- syfydesigns · 2023-12-22 00:02 It's a product you'll use, just buy it, good investment. less hassle ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Background_Fold8134 · 2023-12-22 00:18 its 20 fucking dollars. If you're too cheap for that, there's lot of working cracked torrents out there. Figure it out. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- wagu666 · 2023-12-22 10:01 mIRC is EASILY worth paying the small one off license fee for IMO.. although it did take me about 8 years to buy a license.. as I started using it as a kid. The old versions would keep working whether they were registered or not.. so there’s always the option of installing an old version if you really are struggling that much financially ---------------------------------------------------------------------- hazeyez · 2023-12-24 16:45 If you don't know how to find traces of an install on your computer manually, then you have no business trying to rip off someone's software. Nobody here is going to help you do this. I used to warez mIRC (on.. mIRC, heh) but then I grew up. I bought licenses for 4 PCs which I don't even use. Paid my reparations to Khaled Mardam-Bey for my past debauchery, but also because I want him to keep developing and improving it. They also don't let you run past the 30 day trial like they used to, after waiting for 30 seconds of notices. Pay the $20 and keep it moving... otherwise use a WEB CLIENT LIKE A SAD BOY!!!!!!!! :kek: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- soldierboy112 · 2023-12-25 12:04 a very wague of a question but i want ask u how do u have fun on irc i am getting started with it but cant have a lot of fun there and i get bored pls 'hepl' ---------------------------------------------------------------------- beholdthepineapple · 2023-12-26 06:59 It costs 20 dollars, and you want to pirate? Really?
