I just downloaded a mobile IRC client called HoloIRC. Unfortunately, I
have encountered a problem:

I can send messages on my mobile, but I don't get any messages
displayed. This also applies to private chats between my mobile and
the PC.

On the PC, however, I can receive messages and also send messages.

**Does anyone have a solution for this, or is there a better android
IRC client?**

You could try [Goguma](https://sr.ht/~emersion/goguma/), available
from the [official F-Droid
repo](https://f-droid.org/packages/fr.emersion.goguma/) as well.
